Groundsman
2010-06-28 18:08:03

Alan Smith has retired as groundsman after 10 years. As we all know our square is one of the best in Bucks and a batsman's dream. The club would like to thank Alan for his dedication to LKCC over the years and hope he enjoys his retirement.
In Alan's place Howard Yendal the RGS groundsman will now be looking after the square. LKCC has to pay for his services, so we ask you to pay your subs of £40 THIS week as deadline day is the 30th of June and also pay match fees and any money owing. The groundsman will now be a major outgoing to our finances we will have to find another £1,000 plus per season.

Player commitment
2010-06-21 09:18:15

David Kornish and Alan Sheraton are having great problems picking sides over the last two weeks. LKCC players are not committing themselves to playing. Players are pulling out of games hours of even minutes before a game, if the reason serious then of course we understand, but players are saying they are going to watch football etc. As you can imagine this is totally unacceptable, just put yourself in Alan and David's position, it is impossible to find players at such short notice.
Let's all get behind the club and commit ourselves to playing as much as possible.
Tony Chick - Chairman.

Sunday fixtures
2010-06-14 08:31:02

Yesterdays game had to be cancelled 45mins before the start due to players pulling out of the fixture. This was of course very unfair to the opposition Longwick who were travelling to Kingshill and embarrassing to skipper David Kornish, without mentioning teas being paid for and the ground being prepared. This is unacceptable especially as again the football was to blame. Please can all players support the Sunday XI.
